A Way Home

A Way Home is a 3D, third person, adventure game about hope and mental illness. You play as a fisherman in a rowboat in space. You use the left mouse button to row the left side and right mouse button to row the right side (there is one oar). You are trying to row back home through the vast emptiness of space, trying to manoeuvre through asteroid belts, around black holes, dead planets and dead stars. You can use their gravity to propel yourself further. As you play you slowly lose health and if you stop moving you lose health quicker. As you move through space the colour of it will shift from a darker, colder palette to a lighter, warmer one. This all is a metaphor for how important persevering is - even if you feel like you are out of place, lost and alone, as long as you keep moving forward and don't let things slow you down, eventually you will find your way back.  This is a story of hope.
